About

Valentina, guided tour

My professional journey reflects a deep passion for art history and history. I grew up in Italy in an environment rich in culture, where art and history were an integral part of everyday life. However, it was in Paris that my professional adventure as a tour guide truly began, after obtaining my degree in Art History in Rome.

After completing my university studies in Rome, I felt the need to broaden my horizons and immerse myself in a different, yet equally rich culture. That’s when I decided to move to Paris, a city that, for me, represents the crossroads of art, history, and modernity. Paris, with its immense heritage, offered me the opportunity to continue my studies and further refine my expertise in the field I love so much.

I then enrolled in a training program that allowed me to obtain my tour guide license and the national guide certification, a valuable key that allowed me to begin my career as an official guide. This qualification not only enabled me to work in the museums and iconic monuments of the city, but also allowed me to dedicate my life to what has become my vocation: sharing my passion for history, art, and heritage with a curious and enthusiastic audience.

Over the years, I had the chance to work in several prestigious cultural institutions, both public and private, which allowed me to deepen my knowledge and diversify my skills. One of my first significant experiences was my collaboration with the Louvre Museum, one of the largest museums in the world. I also had the opportunity to work at the Château de Versailles, and another milestone in my career was my experience at the Louis Vuitton Foundation. These experiences not only enriched my expertise but also allowed me to meet passionate people from around the world and discover new perspectives on art and history.

As the years went by, I felt the need to specialize further and address a growing demand in the field of guided tours: educating younger audiences. I gradually directed my work towards creating educational tours and workshops for children. My mission then took on a new dimension, seeking to make art history and heritage more accessible and enjoyable for younger generations. Through interactive approaches and creative activities, I strive to offer children an immersive and engaging experience where learning becomes a game. This has allowed me to establish special bonds with families and schools, meeting their needs in a personalized way.

Today, my goal remains unchanged: to share an unforgettable moment of Parisian life with you. Thanks to my years of experience, I am able to offer guided tours that go beyond the mere presentation of monuments and museums. Every tour is an opportunity to dive into the history of the capital, explore its iconic neighborhoods, and understand the events that have shaped the city. As a guide, I make it a point to reveal the hidden stories behind each place, describing the surprising anecdotes that enrich Paris. I want every visit to become an emotional and intellectual journey where every participant, whether a beginner or an expert, discovers a new aspect of the city.

For me, each visit is unique. I strive to make every experience different by adapting to the needs and expectations of the visitors. Whether for families, school groups, or art enthusiasts, I make it a point to make every tour as enriching and unforgettable as possible. My goal is to bring Paris to life and to help you discover its secrets, art, and heritage in an accessible and enjoyable way. I firmly believe that art and history are essential keys to understanding the world around us, and I am committed to sharing this conviction at every stage of my tours.
